Activating Three Languages Simultaneously in Mental Lexicon: An Investigation of Nepali – English – Sanskritparallel Language Activation

This is the first study investigating nature of trilingual parallel language activation in Nepal-English-Sanskrit triad. Twenty-four participants have been divided into groups 8 based on dominance three use to understand groups. Stimuli consisted audio-visual bimodal nature. An emerging novel technology Mouse Tracker that can continuous unfolding cognitive processing has used design experiment and collect software generated data. The data analyzed using SPSS visualized R. Results which showed when languages are activated simultaneously, phonological similarity plays a facilitating role. results explained line with BLINCS (Bilingual Language Interaction Network for Comprehension Speech) model.
